Well folks, the Benefit For Breast Cancer at Murphy's Law in Cleveland, Ohio was a smashing success! $9500.00 was raised with every penny going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation because absolutely everything, including the food, prizes, and raffle tickets, was donated.
So many thanks to the owner, staff, patrons, and friends of Murphy's Law for your generous time and talents. As for me, I did some online marketing for the event, and helped to keep the food replenished during the event.
Did you know that the Susan G. Komen Foundation was founded in 1982? Susan's sister, Nancy Goodman Brinkman started the foundation after Susan died of breast cancer in 1980. Nancy had promised her that she would do everything she could to end breast cancer.
